We have reached the end of another year. It’s amazing how fast this year has gone.

The kids’ exams are over and the summer holidays are here! Lozi and Kitty have passed into their next standards and Lozi came 4th in her class of 39 students. Kitty did really well this year. She passed coming 13th in her class of 33 students. We are so proud of her and all she has achieved. During the year we fill a bottle of all our loose change and the most improved school child, in our home, receives it at the end of the year. Kitty won the money bottle for being the most improved at school this year. Keturah and Kevin only receive their reports on the 12 December so we don’t know how they have done as yet.

Collin and José await their results for their JCSE exams which they will only receive in January. Sam and Josh are now back home and looking for work. They are busy working on their learner drivers licences right now and putting together their CV’s. As we still don’t have a gardener as yet, they have taken to helping in the garden and keeping the lawns mowed.

Hi everyone,

Once again it has been a busy month, as it always is in a house full of teenagers, kids, toddlers and babies.

On the 4th October, Kitty was baptised. It was so lovely to watch her as she made her public confession to follow the Lord through the waters. There has been an amazing change in her as she is now focused and has a goal. She is planning to go to Joy Bible College to get her Diploma in Theology once she has completed her JC.

Aunty Tema returned to work with her beautiful baby boy Josiah. It has relieved our load a lot by us being back on with full staff again. We still do not have a gardener and as summer approaches the garden is growing fast. The older boys are helping a lot by mowing lawns and weeding flower beds.

Collin and Kitty celebrated their birthdays on the 1st September. Kitty has turned 18 and Collin is 17. Robyn took them to town and gave them a day out with her. They bought new clothes and had a special lunch. Both really enjoying their day out and individual alone time with Robyn.

We apologise for being so late with the last two newsletters. We have had a very busy 2 months. The loan from the bank for the house was declined but we queried it and so the matter was re-investigated by the bank and it is all sitting with the Loans Manager at the bank. There are still issues on going between the owner of the house and his ex-wife which is also delaying the sale of the house.
